maeverose asked: your work is SUCH an inspiration. thank you!! xxoo
that is the best thing anyone could have ever said about my work!
the show on saturday was awesome.
it was hot as balls out.
but so much fun regardless.
show’s up for the next month.
so if y’all are in nyc, you should go check it out.
and yes, that is how one should stand next to their artwork.
like a 50’s housewife, advertising tinned ham.
blood-bloom asked: I just wanted to tell you that I think your work is amazing! I'm in a Printmaking I class right now and I've done a little of it in high school and in my 2D Design class and I've disliked it both times. (I did enjoy the litho print I did once though.) Anyway, I just appreciate what you can do because I find it so difficult!
Thank you! That’s really sweet of you to say :)
Printmaking can be tedious and frustrating at times. But as far experiencing in an academic context - i fell in love with it partly because of the professor i had. it can be a painfully awful class if the person teaching it is rubbish….
I think it does have a lot to do about which medium you feel most comfortable as well. If litho is your jam, i would keep taking classes in that and make some awesome shit!
Done & done!
Dropped her off yesterday.
The diamonds are in pale gold & bluish-silver.
And if y’all are in the neighbourhood come see the show.
